Acadia Wayside Property Management (AWPM) currently offers three types of property inspection and evaluation services oriented toward the home owner, the potential home buyer, and the property insurance industry.
Manor Minder evaluation inspection. This is a complimentary inspection for new Manor Minder clients. A professional Home Inspector will visit your property and inspect its major structural and mechanical components. This inspection will serve as a starting point to help develop a program of both long and short-term care for your property. This inspection normally takes about two hours, and is documented with photographs and a written report.
Manor Finder evaluations are offered to prospective buyers who are looking for seasonal and residential properties in the Acadia area. Unfortunately, many properties look better in their ads than they do when you visit them in person. If your decision to visit a piece of property involves taking time off from work, driving or flying a long distance, sending your children and pets to stay with the grandparents, and staying in a hotel in Maine, then each visit involves a substantial investment in time and money. It can be very disappointing to discover that the property is a poor fit for your needs. Instead of wasting a trip, let a Manor Finder inspector visit the property as your representative. You will receive both a verbal and a written report, with photographs of the property and the surrounding neighborhood. Unlike realtors that work on commission from the seller, we work for you, the prospective buyer, at a flat fee of $99 for one property visit, and $199 for three visits. You establish a relationship with a realtor to help you find your perfect Manor, and we will work as your local eyes and ears to help you find the right property with the fewest false starts.
AWPM also performs on-site policy-verification and claims inspections for the property insurance industry in our service territory from Ellsworth to Milbridge.
