About Us

The General Partners of Acadia Wayside Property Management, Don and Janice Snoke, live year-round in Sullivan, Maine, along the Schoodic National Scenic Byway.  Don holds a Master's degree from the University of Maine, and has managed large industrial buildings and office parks in financial, software, and telecommunications corporations for thirty years.  He spent eight years as the manager of a residential condominium building in Boston. He is trained as both a home inspector and a residential property appraiser, and has extensive experience in the areas of electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, and rehabilitating older houses.  He is a counselor at the Ellsworth chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), and is a member of the Schoodic National Scenic Byway Commission.

Janice brings over 20 years of experience as a laboratory technician, much of it in clean-room environments in the chemical, bio-tech, and pharmaceutical industries.  She has operated a residential cleaning service, an in-home pet sitting service, and most recently was responsible for providing a sterile manufacturing environment at a major drug manufacturer.

Lobo, a jet-black German Shepherd, is our Chief Security Officer, Spirit Guide, and generally the "brains" of the operation.  He keeps everything running on schedule.
Sheba, a Golden Retriever, serves as our Culinary Quality   Control inspector, snow plow co-pilot, and chief greeter.
